f/2.2, 1/40, ISO 4000 (!), 35mm
It was very low light- I kept increasing the ISO until I got a decent exposure. It wasn’t until I uploaded the photos to my computer that I noticed that the ISO was 4000! I think my D7000 is performing amazingly well at this high an ISO- there is some noise, but nothing that really distracts from the photo at this size. I love my camera (and my grandbaby!)!

This photo has great composition. And the focus on those eyes! I’m envious. So glad you like the camera. And that the high ISO doesn’t distract.
Several people I know recently purchased the D7000 and are loving it. I loving his beautiful big eyes and precious smile. Yes, I did get the 60mm, f/2 marco ~ fabulous lens. I just need to learn to close it down a bit. I am so excited about the f/2, I use it often and end up with almost a pin hole focal point.
