On the way to somewhere

Just a typical Death Valley scene- on the way to Zabriskie Point, I think.

282 Below

One of the must-do’s in Death Valley is to go to the lowest point in North America- Badwater Basin. It was hot, it was below sea level- and that was about it.

Lots of tourists!

Zabriskie at Midday and No Clouds

On the way back to Arizona, we drove through Death Valley. This shot was taken from Zabriskie Point- love those undulations in the rock!

A prickly pear cactus leaf appeared in our backyard a year or two ago- we had not planted it and had no others in our backyard. This year it got more leaves and a couple dozen buds which are now opening. A nice surprise!
