Happy Halloween!

Even in 2020 this beautiful neighborhood creates the most amazing Halloween displays for Prescott and the many, many visitors who come to experience the Halloween wonderfulness. Happy Halloween, everyone! Stay safe and WEAR A MASK!

October Magic

My favorite time of year! Fall leaves, pumpkins, and the magic of Halloween!

We get no trick or treaters at our house- maybe if we had a gate decorated like this we would!

Skeleton Transportation

Here’s a closer view of part of the display at my favorite Halloween house- the skeleton in a buggy!

for Halloween . . .

It’s that time of year. . .

We did our annual photo pilgrimage to Mount Vernon St. here in Prescott. I always love how this particular house is decorated- and this year’s decorations did not disappoint!

Happy Halloween!

Skeleton Parade
by Jack Prelutsky

The skeletons are out tonight,
they march about the street,
With bony bodies, bony heads
and bony hands and feet.
Bony bony bony bones
with nothing in between,
Up and down and all around
they march on Halloween.

Happy (almost. . .) Halloween!

Here are a couple more sights we saw as we walked down Mount Vernon Street.

Spirit of Halloween

Yesterday we took our annual Halloween stroll along Mt. Vernon Street, where the Halloween spirit is very evident. In this neighborhood of older homes, most houses are decorated for Halloween, and some have gone all out! It’s the most popular street in town for trick-or-treating.

More Punkins

I never get tired of taking photos of pumpkins.  Expect a few more over the coming weeks!
