My goal for today’s photo assignment was to find something as quickly as possible and be done with it! I had a camera in my hand all day yesterday; today maybe fifteen minutes. I looked around for something I had not photographed before, and there it was on the coffee table in front of me- a bowl of willow balls.

You may not have been inspired but the composition and textures, not to mention the DOF, are intriguing. Very nice for an uninspired moment!
The composition is great! I did the same today. Took a little break and just took a few photos instead of my usual 60+.

I really love this shot. So simple and really beautiful. And don’t worry, I think we’re all a little lacking in inspiration these days. 🙂
