My photo buddy, Carol, and I are having a fun day at her house- dining on a gourmet salad followed by a delicious Portuguese chicken soup and sharing photo tips. Carol is learning how to use my speedlight- and I had a Aha moment when she showed me that I don’t need to export photos from Aperture in order to upload to my blog (wish I had known this a year ago. . .).

Nice food shots! And I like the photo of me (well, not the first one; I’m glad the depth of field is shallow because I can see my mother in that photo). You can tell I was having a good time in the second shot. I had lots of fun today. Thanks so much for letting me use your speed light and sharing your camera and Photoshop tips with me.
