I only ventured as far as my front yard today for photography. Here’s a shot of some oleander against the fence. I played with some black and white presets, but ended up creating a warmed up monochrome, using split- toning in Lightroom- and saving that as a preset.

Lovely. Wonderful composition and I love the color (of the monochrome!). I was expecting some HDR madness, though 😉 Split-toning? Uh oh. I certainly have some Lightroom catching up to do!
Yes, I do admite the use of split-toning in the Lightroom, and wonder what would happen if you used the same techinque in the dark room, but may be too radical? Anyway, love the black and white and all of your work Melinda!!!
