Clouds, sunshine, rain sprinkles- I think Spring is here somewhere! Here are some spring flowers to remind us that, yes, it IS Spring!

I played and played with the exposure settings for this photo. I found I had to be a full stop more open in order to get the histogram right. Then I realized that it was, of course- all together now- the EXPOSURE COMPENSATION BUTTON!
Groan.
I love my camera, but having to use the same button for exposure compensation as for setting the aperture sometimes plays havoc with my settings.
I created a desaturated version of this image that I am playing with in Photoshop (adding textures), but can’t seem to get quite right. I’m putting it away for now, as I hope to get something else done beyond photography today!

awesome shot of these beautiful flowers ~ I have the same problem with the exposure compensation. I have mistakenly changed it so often that now it’s the first thing I look at. I just have to make sure I have my glasses with me all the time now, so I can see it.
