While inspecting our garden for changes that might have occurred during the two weeks I was gone, I heard some definite buzzing as I neared the agapanthus. I got as close as I dared with my macro lens to get this image.

Wow! This is impressive. Absolutely gorgeous. I can almost hear the buzzing!
Carol- I was expecting you to tell me what this is! It was striped like a bee with eyes and body shape of a fly! A bee was on the next flower- this was much smaller. A flybee?
Nice, I like the composition and the focus looks good too. Looks like some kind of hoverlfy but I really don’t know :p
