Day 127- Mothballs, Moon, and Macros

I couldn’t resist being one of the many out last night photographing the “big moon”.  My husband suggested a parking lot overlooking the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (the Mothball Fleet), and it seemed many others had the same idea.

I enjoyed using the macro lens today after being away from it for a week.  Here are some views of geraniums that bloomed during our absence.

  1. Wow! your moon shot is wonderful. It’s really nice to have something else in the shot besides the moon and to have a ship from the mothball fleet and the lights in the background, it’s pretty fabulous. Nice, nice job.

Love those macro shots, too. Gorgeous color; I love that you can see the pollen.

  2. We missed the moon Saturday as the clouds were out an covering the sky. I got a nice photo Saturday, but am sad I missed Saturdays show. I like your flower shots.
