Day 335- On the other side. . .

Our office is getting dismantled a bit today as we prepare for the big switch from one internet company to another later in the day.  Before I start unplugging everything, I need to get the blog posted- so there isn’t much time for a photo this morning.  It is raining, so I opened the back door, stuck the lens out, focused on the tree and fence on the side, and clicked.  I’m posting this in response to on the other side, and, since it is Fence Friday, on the other side of the fence seemed like a good subject. Hope the neighbors don’t mind.

  1. You made this sound like a throw-away shot but it isn’t. It’s mesmerizing. The tree is very Ent-like and alive. The wet bark and the gnarls make it an imposing part of the shot, not just a frame within a frame which I think may have been your original intent. Great shot. I love it!

  2. Oh, and good luck with the ISP change. Always a daunting task. I guess that means that when I come to visit, I’m going to have to start all over with the wifi connection! 🙂
