The Botanical Building at Balboa Park was one of the highlights of our San Diego trip. Orchids were everywhere! For Texture Tuesday, I textured this image with 3 layers of Kim Klassen’s Sybil (my new go-to texture. . .) , using different blend modes and opacities.

Beautiful. You’ve inspired me: I think I’ll revisit some of the orchid pics I shot in January. The Sybil texture is perfect for this shot.
This is gorgeous….
What a beauty, Melinda! I haven’t taken orchid shots lately that I have forgotten how lovely they are. Looks like you did enjoy your San Diego trip. Looking forward to seeing more photos from the trip 🙂
My dad loved orchids. He’s no longer with us but when I see one I think of him. I’ve often thought of buying one but I’m terrible with plants and I just know it would die. Either that or the cats would eat it.Gorgeous image.
I like this ……..
I love the bokeh in this!!
Such pretty softness and bokeh surrounding your orchids!
Beautiful. I think Sybil is one of my favorite textures.
Just exquisite. And the bokeh is to die for.
