I am continuing to play with still life, but not going too far outside my comfort zone for this photo session (maybe NEXT time. . .). In fact you’ll notice these images are all VERY similar. Feather and book, book and feather. The last two have an added hat, and the book was changed from The Red Badge of Courage to The Secret Garden (and I moved outside). I think my favorite is the second one (I like the blue book).

I agree – I like the blue book. It seems more dramatic.
Hummm you are having fun and I love to see, I really like all of them I love the first because it is b/w with all the contrasty highlights and shadows. The second is wonderful in it’s own right and very special with a very special feel and tone. The third and last well you added your hat, I have the same hat. :). just love these also they are different with really lovely qualities each of them. I think these would make for a nice grouping of images.
