Day 215- On the way to Target

On the way to Target today, I stopped by the Vallejo library and waterfront area to take photos.  It was about one o’clock in the afternoon- horrible light! I was intrigued by a torpedo on display in front of the library.  I don’t know the history, so it is a mystery to me. I used sepia processing and added a texture to compensate for the harsh lighting.

f/5, 1/400, ISO 250, 52mm

BTW, although I am staying away from flowers today, you may notice that I shot the end of the torpedo that is rather flower-shaped.

  1. Petals around a center are certainly a recurring theme with your photos but that is not a bad thing. This is a riveting photo and I think the sun from overhead really adds interest to the photo. The textures and sepia tone add a vintage look. Very nice.

  2. You sure do have a wide variety of photographs on this blog. I love that you were on your way to do ordinary errands and you find something quite interesting to photograph.

  3. It’s a good thing you stopped. You certainly know how to edit! It’s great. It makes me wonder where this has been and what it has “done”.
