This was one of those days where I just took a few moments to wander through my backyard with my zoom lens- just following the light.

The azaleas are in full bloom. I resisted my urge to crop this photo.
The next two are of our deck railings. I’m submitting the black and white for Fence Friday. Railings are a kind of fence, right?

These are all wonderful shots. The laurel tree shot is quite spectacular. The composition and the lighting on the branches are really nice. The lighting on the azaleas is my favorite kind of flower light. Check out my post for today. We were on a similar wave length. And yes, railings count as fences. I think a fence is just a barrier and so is a railing. They’re probably synonyms. I think I like the first one best, probably because of the bokeh. Very nice set of photos today.
