Kansas Wheat

The drive across Kansas gave me an opportunity for an up close and personal view of a wheat field. My husband must have Kansas in his blood- I think the color version is his favorite photo from the trip.

  1. I would think this was a tough trip for your husband but also some sweet memories. I guess that is what is meant we take the good and the bad? You know I so like your b/w’s and this speaks to me, especially because it is with the Lensbaby and also a close up.

Melinda — I am a friend of Carol Smith’s. I grew up on a wheat farm in the Palouse country in eastern Washington state (Dusty, Washington) so these pictures are especially meaningful to me. Thanks to Carol for mentioning your pics in her post. Charleen Wilde………..
