Exploring Santa Fe

Last Sunday we celebrated my birthday in Santa Fe. We walked around the downtown taking in as many of the sights as we could in one day and sampling northern New Mexico cuisine.  Here are a some random detail shots gathered taken on our walk around the city; all were taken with my lensbaby.

  1. First of all “Happy Belated Birthday” Melinda! These are fabulous shots – amazing focus and clear crisp colour – just beautiful.

  3. Detail shots are the perfect way to show the look and feel of the Southwest. I think you nailed it. I love the turquoise in these shots that just shout “New Mexico!” These are all wonderful photographs but the first three are my favorite. The red poppy is gorgeous, the tiny glass tiles are mysterious, and that weathered turquoise door and latch detail, stunning! I love this taste of Santa Fe!
