Well, it was probably abandoned in a field and the kids used it for target practice. That’s the way it happens on farms…or in the country. 🙂 However, you COULD make up a great story about it. Just give it a happy ending. We need more happy endings and good works right now. Maybe the outlaws jumped out before the bullets flew and jumped into a river (a la Butch and Sundance) and went off to South America to build an orphanage and do good all their live long days. 🙂 Yes, it needs a happy ending.

I’m thinking MaryAnn is probably right- I was thinking Bonnie and Clyde, but that’s definitely not a happy ending! Maybe they jumped off a cliff and ended up in Narnia or Oz.
